Amit Ashar was born in born in the Kolkata 1967

Amit is an advertising photographer based in Mumbai. He has done a lot of work for feature film publicity campaigns (bollywood).

He also has a vast personal body of work which he call 'the phenomenonal magic of the ordinary’. That’s what he chooses to do when he is not working. This body of work reflects his personality . His work always seeks to find something extraordinary in the ordinary.
